Brief Bio
Kate's interest in the intersection between information skills and quality dental care started when she worked as a dental laboratory technician in a private dental practice while earning her Masters in Library Science. Kate's current research interests concern the effectiveness of online instruction, the usability of online resources, and how information resources are used by researches and clinicians. She is the Assistant Department Head for User Services, Information Services Coordinator. Prior to coming to the Health Sciences Library in 1999, Kate was Assistant Department Head in the Business, Science, and Technology Department of the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland. |
