Brief Bio
Before coming to the UNC Health Sciences Library, Lara gained experience working in health sciences libraries such as the Environmental Protection Agency Library and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Library. She is the liaison to UNC's School of Medicine and teaches Endnote and information literacy classes to first year medical students and patrons of the HSL. Her interests include teaching literature searching and evidence-based practice to researchers, faculty, staff, and students in the health sciences and medical fields.
