Brief Bio

Mellanye received her MSI in April 2005 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is interested in public health informatics, evaluation of library services, and helping users make sense of their search results. She has reference experience in both medical and public health libraries. Mellanye teaches classes on how to search, meets with students and faculty for research consults and holds librarian office hours every Thursday from 12-1 in the Hooker Atrium at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. Mellanye is chair of the Public Health / Health Administration section of the Medical Library Association for 2009-2010.
