Promotional Materials

Clients of WHIC can find out about services, location, hours, and contact information by calling the center, visiting the webpage, or through promotional materials.

Examples of promotional materials shown on the left include the WHIC brochure, WHIC bookmark, and WHIC flyer.

Promotional materials are available on the counter beneath the book and reference collections. These are handy materials to refer to and give to clients when location and contact questions arise.

Exercise 1: Take the time now to go get the brochure and the bookmark from the counter. While you are there, familiarize yourself with the available handouts. These may include flyers for classes sponsored by WHIC and advertisements for non-WHIC research studies and support groups.

Exercise 2: Read over the brochure and the bookmark. The brochure includes information about WHIC's mission, classes, as well as contact information and hours, and a location map.

The bookmark includes contact information and examples of WHIC resources, as well as tips on surfing the Internet safely for health information.

WHIC website

The WHIC webpage contains information about WHIC services as well as links to other useful health information websites.
