V: Hi! How are you today.

C: Oh, OK, I guess. I'm here waiting for my turn to visit a friend who is in the hospital and saw your sign.

V: Glad you came in. Can I help you find something?

C: Well, I don't know. It's just that I keep waking up with pain on one side of my face, and I thought you might have something in here that would tell what causes that.

V: Oh really? Where is the pain?

C: Around my ear and it hurts worse when I open my mouth.

V: I thought so. I get that sometimes. I read somewhere, maybe in the newspaper, that it has something to do with your jaw joint and that it can be caused by stress. I know mine is!

C: Well, I guess that could be so.

V: Usually I just take some Tylenol and it goes away. Are you having problems with stress? My favorite way to relax is to do yoga. We have a great book on using yoga to help with stress. Would you like to see it?

C: Huh, no I don't think so. I'd best go see my friend now.

V: (to herself): Gosh, these folks never want to follow my suggestions.

Did Vicki follow the WHIC Code of Ethics guidelines? Not very well! What did she forget?
