Objectives

The number of Web sites offering health information grows every day. Many sites provide valuable information, while others may have information that is unreliable, misleading, or just plain quackery. This lesson prepares you to recognize the characteristics of a credible Web site and to determine the source of the information and its reliability.

In this lesson, you will:

-- learn how to evaluate the reliability of online health information;
-- learn the signs of an unreliable Web site.
