New FDC Resources for Review

The UNC-Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library requests your assistance in reviewing online versions of the following drug information resources from the FDC:

These resources would be available both on- and off-campus.

The Health Sciences Library has arranged for free access to these FDC resources through April 30, 2005 and would appreciate your feedback. Please send your comments to HSL Resources Management staff.


VC Announces Funding to Support "Open Access" Authors' Fees

Support for author fees of up to $750 per article is available upon faculty request from a new fund established by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development.

New Bibliographic Management System Available

RefWorks is an online bibliographic management and formatting program. It can be used to:

  • Create and maintain your own searchable database of references
  • Automatically import references from multiple databases (see list of databases and instructions)
  • Centralize and organize your research information
  • Insert citations into word processing documents
  • Format references and bibliographies in a variety of styles
