Borrowing Materials: Holds (Recalls) : Health Sciences Library

To place a hold on a book that is checked out, fill out the Request a Checked-out Book form. You must have a valid borrower's card. Your request will prevent the current borrower from renewing the book and you will be notified by email when the book is ready for pickup.

HSL does not recall books that are checked out. Library staff cannot tell you who has the book if it is unavailable.

To reserve a video owned by HSL for use in instruction, come to the library or call (919) 962-0800 during library hours or email your request to Ask a Librarian. Tell us who you are, what video you want, and when you want to use it.
