Introduction

This module is intended to provide you with online information resources pertaining to drugs and the pharmaceutical industry. While this is by no means a comprehensive collection of the information available on the topics listed, the module should provide you with resources that will help you find the information you are seeking.

If you are looking for print resources, we strongly urge you to check the UNC Online Catalog for appropriate materials. An excellent reference for working pharmacists is Drug Information: A Guide for Pharmacists (UNC HSL REF QV 737 D7938 2001). This text covers all aspects of pharmacy informatics, including finding and managing information, information quality assessment, ethical issues in pharmacies' information use, and evidence-based clinical practice.

You are, of course, always welcome to take advantage of our Ask A Librarian service. You can get to Ask a Librarian via a link on every page of this module.
