International Statistics

The WHO Statistical Information System (WHOSIS) includes statistical and epidemiological data and information from the World Health Organization and elsewhere.

United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) provides statistical data by region and by county.

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) offers basic health data for the Americas. Includes core health data, mortality profiles, analysis by population group, prevalence of communicable diseases, and national health plans and policies.

The United Nations Statistics Division compiles statistics from many international sources and produces global updates, including the Statistical Yearbook, World Statistics Pocketbook and yearbooks in specialized fields of statistics. It also provides to countries, specifications of the best methods of compiling information so that data from different sources can be readily compared.
