Comparing Insider and Outsider Perspectives

Upon completing the service provider and community member interviews, the collected qualitative data described above was analyzed to recognize common themes and to identify similarities between the insider and outsider perspectives. Although the interview guides were tailored specifically to either service providers or community members, the students felt that the responses to these tailored questions could be analyzed and described together. The interview guides were designed to obtain information on the same key topics from different perspectives while also gaining information specific to each group to help characterize each perspective.
