The Media Design Studio has three computers available for use: two Windows XP PCs and one Macintosh. The computers are equipped with a floppy drive, CD burner, DVD drive, and USB ports. Other equipment available for use in the Studio include a flatbed and slide scanner and a HP color inkject printer.

All workstations have a core set of software including, but not limited to:

Adobe CS Suite (includes Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Macromedia MX Suite (includes Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash) Microsoft Internet Explorer Microsoft Office (Includes PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) GIS software Additional software for digital audio and video (Adobe Premiere on Windows and Final Cut Pro on the Macintosh).

Online tutorials are available for each of these packages, or you may request a consultation for additional training.
