Print Your Poster

Note: If your created your poster in the UNC Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library (HSL) Media Design Studios and would like to have it printed at HSL, you can skip this section. Instead you need to go to http://www.hsl.unc.edu/Services/MDStudio/posterhelp.cfm to submit an online print request.

1. Choose File > Print. Choose the printer you want to use in the Name dropdown box.

File > Print

2. Click on the Properties button.

3. In the Properties dialog box, enter the dimensions of the poster in the Application page size dropdown menu. Click More sizes... if you don't see the size you need.

Properties dialog box

4. When you have finished adjusting the settings, click OK in the Print dialog box to print the poster.

Note: Due to differences in printers and software configurations, the procedures for printing posters vary from one computer lab to another. If you have difficulty printing your poster, do not despair. Printing problems are not unusual. Talk to your computer systems support staff for assistance.
