Printing Your Poster

Printing procedures vary depending on which software you used and where you are printing your poster.

Where to print your poster

If you are affilitated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, here are some possibilities:

Health Sciences Library Media Design Studios (919) 962-0800 http://www.hsl.unc.edu/Services/MDStudio/home.cfm

You may have your poster printed at HSL only if you have created it in the HSL Media Design Studios. Posters are $2 per foot, $10 minimum. After completing your poster, the turnaround time for printing is three full business days.  Allow an additional two weeks if you would like a design consultation.

The Media Design Studios are open whenever the Health Sciences Library is open. We strongly recommend you reserve a workstation in the Studios to ensure availability. InDesign and PowerPoint are available on both the PC and Mac platforms.

Note: If you created your poster in the HSL Media Design Studios and would like to have it printed at HSL, go to http://www.hsl.unc.edu/Services/MDStudio/posterhelp.cfm to submit an online print request.

If you have not created your poster in the Media Design Studios, the following two stores are good options for printing:
