International Pharmaceutical Abstracts (IPA) provides comprehensive worldwide information on all phases in the development and use of drugs, and on professional pharmaceutical practice and education. The scope of the database ranges from the clinical, practical, and theoretical, to the economic and scientific aspects of the field and includes abstracts from state pharmacy journals, ASHP meetings, and more. Coverage is from 1970 to the present, with the records being updated on a monthly basis.

This database provides abstracts only.

Access: IPA is available through any UNC campus computer, and is also available off-campus to any UNC affiliated person who has a PID number. Instructions on how to connect if you are off-campus are included here.
