The UNC Libraries Scholarly Communication Committee invites you to a panel on perspectives on Open Access on Monday, October 19, 2009. The discussion will take place from 3:30-4:30pm in Davis Library, room 214.

Starting May 13, 2009 you will need both your PID and your email address to access resources from off-campus.
If you do not know your PID (personal identification number) you can look it up here.
To check your email address in our records:
1. Log in to My Library (use the "Don't have an ONYEN" link if you do not have an ONYEN).
2. Select the Manage Email button (opens in a pop-up window).

At HSL, the New Year has brought with it a new Deputy Director! We are pleased to share the news that Jim Curtis has rejoined the UNC Health Sciences Library as our Deputy Director.
Jim is no stranger to UNC or our library, having served us for over a decade as Assistant and Associate Director before leaving in 2004 to become the Director of the Savitt Medical Library and Information Technology Services at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. Jim oversaw the growth of medical library services on both Reno and Las Vegas campuses, and expanded library outreach activities throughout the state and region.
